Cheek Piercings

When the piercing is done in the cheek region of the face,it is called Cheek Piercing. The most common type of cheek piercing is the penetration of the tissues of the face making entry into the oral cavity. The piercing could be done in the dimples which are there on the cheek or in the area which where piercing will make it appear like a dimple. To make the piercing look like dimples, the penetration is done on both the cheeks at the same time and at the same position. A properly done cheek piercing changes the appearance of a person and makes a person look much younger. For those who have thick cheeks, piercing might cause pain as it is not easy to penetrate easily. Cheek piercing is done by both males and females and because of the delicate position of the piercing , females should take care while doing makeup or using hair spray and the males should be careful enough while shaving while the piercing is going through the healing stage. Smoking should be stopped during the healing stage. One can use a small labret stud in the cheek piercing to give it a beautiful look.
